I have been busy the last few days- my proposal is almost complete and I have to finish it by about Thursday this week. However I have put in some knitting time, focusing only on my Sockapalooza sock.
Here is the completed sock hanging out with my geranium plant. The thing about these socks is that they look really nice on- but look kinda funny just sitting there. The cables bunch everything up and make them look really skinny. However the measurements are perfect for my sock pal, and now its time for me to start on the second sock.
The pattern, btw, is really easy and nice, (once I got used to the weirdo heel and toe, but they do look nice, I had just never done them before.)
Time to get back to that proposal- plus I have to finish up a book I am teaching tommorrow. Off to the races!
Very nice. I think I did my own heel when I made these the second time (neither pair was for me) and if I were to make them for myself, I'd probably change the toes, too.

I love the sock, I really want to knit that pattern myself. One of these days.
I just love Geraniums, always makes me think of the poem my mom used to recite to me.
