Right now we are under a severe thunderstorm warning and tornado watch. I was out on my porch, taking pictures of the clouds rolling in, when all of a sudden the wind picked up and my porch furnature started flying around, along with branches and small debris.
It rolled in really fast- it was sunny only about 10 minutes before I took this picture. Anyway, Milo and Chloe freaked out and are currently hiding under the bed. Meanwhile, I'm just reading and listening to the radio, waiting out the storm. These usually pass as quickly as they come, but with the Tornado watch and everything, one wants to be careful.
Meanwhile, I still need to get some embroidery floss to sew up the summer tweed shell, but I have started in on another UFO- the Cable 8 top from last spring's IK
As you can see I initially never got very far with it- but I plan on finishing it now.
I also had to re-do the heel flap on my sockapalooza sock but I have made condsiderable progress.
The leg is done, and I have to turn the heel- and then I need to get cracking!!!
Chloe and Milo are still under the bed- hiding out. However, things have gotten quieter- the wind has died down and its just raining. Ahh- springtime in the South.
I have a feeling it's going to be quite the tumultuous year for storms. Poor babies, maybe you should make them a care package for under the bed in case they are under there a while :-)
It definitely feels good to finish up the WIP's. I really need to do that myself a bit more and start things a bit less.

It seems like there are a lot of storms recently. Odd. Hope your area made it through fine!

I have knit that sock pattern but had to use size 2 needles instead of 1s. What size are you using?
